It is not true that in Germany they collect Russian books for burning in winter
There is no truth to the allegation that libraries in Germany urge readers to bring in books by Russian authors or unwanted books to be used for heating in winter. The ‘official reports’ circulating on the Internet are fabricated. Libraries in Dresden and Hamburg officially deny having published such messages and do not collect Russian and other books to burn for heating.
